Park on the edge of the Snowy Mountains.
The Mount Buffalo National Park is a national park
located in the alpine region of Victoria, Australia.
Within the national park is Mount Buffalo, a
moderately tall mountain plateau, with an
elevation of 1,723 metres above sea level. Mount
Buffalo is located 349 km north-east of Melbourne
via the Hume Freeway and the Great Alpine Road.
The last 29 km are a long and winding climb up the
mountain.
